Harry Potter and Hedwigby ~afo2006

Now with my new scanner, i will post a lot of art.

First, let's begin with my new HP project. I always wanted a HP movie in the Disney style (but in the style of Disney's old movies, like The sword in the stone, The little mermaid, etc).
so this poject consist on taking a Disney character and modify him/her until he/she looks like a HP char. Also i use my imagination and some help of my fav HP artists.

The first character is Harry potter and his owl, Hedwig. For Harry, i took reference of Wart (The Sword in the Stone), and for Hedwig and owl in The Sleeping Beauty.

I wanted to make a simple old disney coloring (If you check the Sword in the Stone, the coloring style is very simple, i really like it).

well, i hope you like this art, soon i will post Hermione or maybe Ron.

I love this take on Sword in the Stone. You should do a Merlin Dumbledore that would be do funny!

This reminds me of The Sword in The Stone soooo much. SO you definitely pulled off the old Disney look (which works lovely on skinny boys, for some reason).

Much cleaner than the often sketchy lineart in The Sword in The Stone, though~
